„In the cycle called Hobby Painting, the author works with generally comprehensible and popular theme of a summer holiday combined with spectacular mastery of painter’s workmanship. It emphasises natural sentiment charge present in the works and consciously pushes forward the frontiers of good taste towards the kitsch. This results in an interconnection between objectivist principles of classic painting on one side and irony-based and exposed conceptual strategy highlighting admass perception of „kitsch-like“ manner of living on the other side.“
